RESEARCHING

Research is one of the main criteria for writing any essay, such as historical, research, labs, and many other different type of papers. It is required, regardless of the course and always used continuously without knowing. For example, in History class, people learn the history of the United States, however, the teacher or professor have already researched the information for their students beforehand. Another example would be reading a newspaper and knowing the facts of what is happening around the United States or the world. There many ways to conduct a research, than listening to a teacher's lecture or newspaper, moreover, anyone can be reading from a book to an online source, meeting a person who have knowledge of the topic, examining an object that relates to the topics, and many more.

A book may seem long and dull, but it  has a variety of information within it, even if it is just a reading book, it captures the attention of its reader. It gives an adept description of its topic given in the book.  As technology grew, people barely use books as a research tool, but the Internet. In less than a minute, anyone can find many information on the topic they are researching, rather than taking a couple of days to find information in a book. The difficulty about using the Internet as a research tool is; there are some sites which are not published/copyright.

A knowledgeable person can be anyone, like a teacher, parents, or a person who knows about the topic being researched. For example, our first assignment for English 102 is interviewing a person. The student is to know the interesting fact about the person, but an interesting person a classmate knows does not really have any popularity throughout the world, interviewing them would be the best way to find facts about them. As said before, a teacher is also a knowledgeable person, because they know more facts about the subject than a student. And a parent who have experienced all sort of events in their life, have many facts and opinion about the events that occurred in their life.

Sometimes a piece of objects is what is needed for research. Most of the time, this happens in science lab because the main objective of an experiment is usually a piece of object, and in chemistry is it the reaction of a chemical. It gives them reasonable details to be able to write a whole lab report. And there are also people who likes to examine nature, and they write about how it revolves throughout the years. To top out my topic of research, as years past or in earlier stages of people's life, even if people are not focused on something particular, they are researching on a topic, regardless whether or not they are conscious about it. From being a baby who is examining their parent's livelihood and their environment, to students who have interested in topics and wants more details of it, to an elder who has have received most of their information at a younger age, but is still curious about things yet to be discovered.

RETESTING DRIVING SKILLS BEFORE RENEWING LICENSE

In Modesto, California, many people were to retest their driving skills before having the right to renew their license. But Sheboygan, Wisconsi, it is the other way around, where people are able to renew their license after it has expired. With no experience on the wheel, as I watched other people drive, it has discouraged me to become a driver. One thing is I am afraid of car accident, having to see some friends who have had a hard time because they had experienced a much dangerous accident. I am not totally confident with my view, but Sheboygan, Wisconsin should enforces all their drivers to retest their skills before even having the chance to renew their license.

There are many reasons why Sheboygan, Wisconsin or even the whole Wisconsin should enforce the law because there are some speeding driver on the street and on the highway that has never been caught by the cops. For example, once, on the highway 23 going to Fond Du Lac, my family were traveling to Oshkosh, and a random guy in a red car was speeding maybe 20 or 25 miles more than the speed limit had asked. He was trying to pass my family's car, almost crashing into us. Before he even tried to pass, a car was coming from the opposite side, as his car started to switch lanes, as soon as he saw another car approach him from the front, he went back to the the original lane, almost hitting my family's back headlights. If my sister did not speed up, we would have been in a car accident.

Another reason would be that most people would not even follow the direction on the street. Such as the speed limit, and going up to 90 on a 65 speed limit street. Some people would not even stop on a STOP sign, and on a RED LIGHT. Making me remember of an accident that occurred in middle school, my brother, mother, and I was talking about car accidents in the car. As we were driving, a family was crashed by a driver, who was both speeding and had crossed the lights. My heart beated hard, afraid that it could have been us.

But even if I think about it, people can prove that they are a good driver to the DMV. Which means if those dangerous driver can pass the testes, there is no point to enforce such a law.  And there are some good driver, who becomes the victim of a dangerous driver, who may get their license taken away because they did not pass the test. I have many opinion to this topic, but I have to really look at the facts of dangerous driver. I still feel that it would be good to enforce the law.
